Buenos Aires <3 Party Music

So Im making an effort to do as much as I can while Im here and make the most of every second in this amazing city! Matt and I switched where we were living and now live in a sweet student apartment loft in downtown, right next to all the party hostels Ohh the posibilities…
Steph and I decided to check out the famous La Bomba de Tiempo last night, which is this drum show where everyone drinks beer, dances like crazy, and feels those good drum vibrations. We ended up taking the wrong metro there though, running 20 blocks, arriving with only 40min left in the show and it still ROCKED! I cant wait to go back for the whole thing, with a secret stash of cheap alcohol and a gaggle of fun friends.

Getting to Buenos Aires: Hitchhiking is safer than Trains!

Leaving Bariloche turned out to be easy enough, our mission of not using a guide book and getting to know Argentina the cheap way seemed to be working out in our favor. We had met so many interesting people and had many great experiences under out belt from just wandering around and traveling with the flow.
We took a bus out of town, put up our thumbs and within 30 minutes a car stopped. The guy just happened to be in town for the weekend visiting his daughter and was now driving all the way to Neuquén roughly 4 hours from Bariloche- just that much closer to Buenos Aires, score! The car was small but the guy was nice and even invited us to hang out with him tomorrow for a barbeque if we wanted to stick around. He let us out at the bus terminal and sped off to work at the local casino. More >
