“So was it worth it?” I kept asking myself as I sipped on my free international flight whiskeys and Chilean red wine. Then I got to Bogota, jumped in a taxi and met up with my lovely friend Scott….so once again…was it worth it??
Just look at that face!!!
As sleepy as I was after getting off the plane ( I couldnt sleep with so many movies on demand available; Do you have any idea how much I have to catch up on after being down here for so long?!), as soon as I got to the hostel we switched into party mode. I shot him the look of death. “Nooo,” I corrected. “It does not have to be like that.” “When else would you use a saying like that besides when something shitty happens,” he argued, taking a sip from his beer. Another look of death. “Look, maybe I should tell you the story of why I love it so much and then maybe you will believe me,” I said back, standing firm in the defense of my favorite saying.
